Simone Heng is a broadcasting talent with rare global appeal. She has worked as a broadcaster in Australia, Asia and the Middle East for brands like Virgin Radio, HBO Asia and CNN. Her radio-honed speaking voice and sharp wit make her an ideal emcee and moderator with experience spanning 13 years and over 500 events.
Simone has hosted some of the most exciting and high profile events on the planet, including the 8th University Scholars Leadership Symposium at the United Nations, the launch of the world’s tallest hotel, The JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, The World Travel Awards, The Dubai International Film Festival, The Prudential Art Awards, The Singapore International Film Festival and The Asian Business Leaders Forum Awards.
Simone began her career in Singapore in 2005 as an entertainment TV host for regional cable network, HBO Asia. In late 2008 she was offered a package to move to Dubai where she went on to establish herself as an announcer for Virgin Radio International as part of its heavily buzzed-about Dubai station. Simone is currently based in Singapore where she hosts Nightlife with Simone Heng from 8pm to 12am on Singapore’s leading English-language radio station Class 95FM. In 2017, she also hosted the culinary TV reality show, Eat List Star, on Mediacorp Channel 5 which won the Best Entertainment category at the Asia Pacifc Broadcasting Awards 2017.
